A monument erected in Mondariz in honour of the physician Maximino Rodríguez Fornos, one of the illustrious figures of the municipality.

It stands in the centre of the town, near the market square, the town hall and the parish church of Santa Baia. Rodríguez Fornos was a distinguished doctor and professor who gained recognition in the field of medicine.
