Confurco Tunnel
An engineering work from the early 20th century in the parish of Xinzo, in Ponteareas.
It was part of the entrepreneur Enrique Peinador's ambitious project to connect Vigo, Porriño, Ponteareas and Mondariz-Balneario by tram line. The works were halted in 1914 because of the First World War, by which time some 250 metres had been excavated.
