Pesqueiras Route
A short interpretive trail along the bank of the river Tea, visiting several pesqueiras (traditional fish traps), such as the Puntal do Canelas and the Raña de Remolinos.
The pesqueiras are unique granite structures that have been used for millennia to catch lamprey. The trail also visits a mineral medicinal spring above one of the pesqueiras, whose waters were sold in pharmacies in the early 20th century.
