Fillaboa Bridge

Imaxe por defecto

A late medieval bridge of Roman origin over the river Tea, between the parishes of San Lourenzo de Salvaterra and San Miguel de Cabreira, in Salvaterra de Miño.

It is the closest to the mouth among the four centenary Tea bridges, along with those of Cernadela, Os Remedios and As Partidas. About 70 metres long with four arches, it stands on the old royal road linking Ribadavia and Tui. The current structure dates from the 15th century, with major repairs in the 17th century. It was restored by the Xunta in 2014.
