Dried Lamprey Festival

During these dates, the town becomes the «World Capital of Lamprey». Visitors can taste dried lamprey in various styles—roasted, in pies, stuffed, or with noodles—complemented by D.O. Rías Baixas wines under the shade of the oak grove. The program includes activities such as the Bicycle Festival, the Dried Lamprey Hiking Route, a craft and antiques fair, performances by folklore groups, and traditional tavern singing. It originated as part of the patronal feasts.
