Remedios Festival
Festival celebrated in Ponteareas during the first week of September, integrated into the September Festivities, in honor of the Virgin of Remedios.
It is accompanied by the Traditional Remedios Fair, declared a Festival of Tourist Interest in Galicia, which recalls the markets of the early 20th century, recreating rural Galician life and traditional trades while encouraging locals to dress in period attire. The fair includes artisan stalls, a livestock market, and regional products, complemented by workshops, traditional music, and wine tastings. It seamlessly combines religious devotion with the promotion of rural heritage.
