Groba Festival
Classical and chamber music festival celebrated in Ponteareas in mid-August, honoring the composer Rogelio Groba, the town's favorite son.
Organized by the Groba Foundation with the Galician Chamber Orchestra as the orchestra in residence, it offers around eight concerts featuring an eclectic lineup of national and international artists who perform works by Maestro Groba and universal classical composers. The concerts are held at the Reveriano Soutullo Municipal Auditorium and the Canedo Convent Church, with free admission. It combines concerts, masterclasses, and training, making it a premier classical music event.
