Soutullo Festival
A collection of musical events that Ponteareas dedicates to the figure of Reveriano Soutullo (1880-1932), a local composer and major name in lyric music.
He was the author of celebrated zarzuelas such as «La leyenda del beso» and the famous pasodoble «Puenteareas». Among these events are the Zarzuela Lyric Gala «Soutullo na alma»—held within the September Festivities—the Mestre Soutullo National Piano Competition organized by the Reveriano Soutullo Foundation, and tribute days featuring concerts and lectures. These events primarily take place at the Reveriano Soutullo Municipal Auditorium.
