Nacente do Río Deva
The birthplace of the river Deva, which rises at about 800 metres above sea level at the Teso de Deva, in A Cañiza.
From here the river flows southwards for nearly 21 kilometres, before joining the Miño, already in Arbo. Its name, possibly of Celtic origin, is connected to the idea of divinity or sacred character that these cultures attributed to water.
